Strategic Divestment to Fuel Growth

Unith Ltd (ASX: UNT) has taken a decisive step to bolster its cash position by partially divesting its stake in AI audio production company AudioStack for approximately US$500,000 (A$800,000). This move provides Unith with enhanced capital flexibility to invest in growth and development initiatives while maintaining a significant remaining investment valued at around US$1.54 million (A$2.49 million).

Despite the partial sale, Unith remains committed to AudioStack’s technology, renewing its partnership for another 24 months to continue integrating AudioStack’s AI audio capabilities within its Digital Human platform. This ongoing collaboration underscores Unith’s confidence in the technology’s commercial and strategic value.

Renewed Public Health Partnership and Expansion

Unith also secured a contract renewal with The Alliance for Public Health (APH), extending their collaboration on the TWIIN digital assistant project for another year. TWIIN, which supports healthcare delivery in crisis settings, has been recognized globally for its impact, including at the AIDS 2024 conference in Munich.

The renewed contract includes a transition to a self-service model with customer success support and a license-only arrangement for additional services. APH plans to expand TWIIN’s reach into Moldova and Georgia, incorporating multiple languages to better serve local populations. This expansion signals growing trust in Unith’s Digital Human technology as a tool for scalable, personalized healthcare support.

B2C Subscription Division Hits New Heights

Unith’s B2C subscription division marked a significant milestone in the December 2024 quarter, generating A$1.15 million in revenue, the highest quarterly figure in two years. The division now boasts over 700,000 active subscribers across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and North Africa, and European markets.

Recent launches of localized apps such as BedtimeStories in Serbia, AI Travel in Slovakia, and Article+ in Romania demonstrate Unith’s strategic focus on regional market customization. These markets collectively represent an addressable audience exceeding 20 million users, positioning Unith for substantial growth.

General Manager Ivan Dumancic highlighted the role of in-house marketing in driving steady subscriber growth and expressed optimism about expanding Unith’s footprint in existing and new territories.

Growing Traction for interFace Platform

Unith’s self-service digital human platform, interFace, continues to gain momentum across diverse sectors including technology, education, and telecommunications. Since its launch in September 2024, the platform has attracted nearly 500 registered users and facilitated over 2,000 digital human creations, with more than 1,400 being conversational agents.

Conversations on the platform have surged by approximately 160% since July 2024, reflecting increasing adoption and engagement. This growth highlights interFace’s versatility and appeal as a scalable solution for businesses seeking interactive digital human technology.
