The company confirmed that the key tenements underpinning the plant’s infrastructure, M47/161, M47/337, M47/7, and CIC, have no expiry dates on their approvals, providing regulatory certainty for ongoing operations. Artemis also clarified that the nearby exploration licence E47/3361, held by its subsidiary Elysian Resources, is unrelated to the processing plant’s infrastructure.

This clarity comes amid Artemis granting Greentech Metals Limited an exclusive twelve-month option to evaluate the feasibility of processing copper ore from the Whundo deposit through the Radio Hill facility. This strategic partnership signals Artemis’s intent to leverage existing infrastructure to unlock value from its broader resource base.

Operational and Environmental Compliance Roadmap

The company detailed the comprehensive regulatory framework and operational requirements necessary to resume full-scale processing at Radio Hill. Key permits and approvals span mining proposals, environmental licences, safety management, water abstraction, and waste management, among others. Metallurgical testwork conducted in 2019 demonstrated promising recoveries: 94.8% total gold recovery using gravity and flotation methods, high-grade copper concentrates (~30% Cu), and saleable cobalt concentrates.
