This move follows an extensive review by Independent Metallurgical Operations (IMO), a subsidiary of SGS, which confirmed the project’s strong potential for silver and gold recovery. Historical test work from 2004 and 2006 revealed silver recoveries as high as 97.5% and gold recoveries up to 95.8%, underscoring the project’s promising metallurgy.

The planned metallurgical program includes extended cyanide bottle roll tests, flotation optimization, and mineralogical diagnostics. These efforts are designed to fine-tune the relationship between particle size and recovery rates, improve silver and gold extraction efficiencies, and evaluate heap leach viability. Maverick Springs is strategically located just 85km from Elko, Nevada, near Barrick’s Carlin Mine and other world-class gold and silver operations. The project hosts a substantial JORC Inferred Resource of 218 million tonnes grading 42.2 g/t gold and 0.31 g/t silver, containing approximately 296.5 million ounces of gold and 2.2 million ounces of silver. The deposit remains open along strike and at depth, with multiple intercepts outside the current resource model, highlighting further exploration potential.
