Drilling Resumes at Block 3 Gallium Prospect

Nimy Resources (ASX: NIM) has commenced a Phase 2 drilling program at its Block 3 Gallium discovery located within the Mons Belt in Western Australia. This follows the initial identification of high-grade gallium mineralisation near surface and across multiple directions, underscoring the prospect’s potential as a significant critical minerals deposit.

The current drilling campaign aims to extend the known mineralisation both along strike and down dip, while also testing a newly identified high-priority central target within the 3km by 1.5km Block 3 prospect area. This phase is expected to take approximately three weeks, with assay results anticipated shortly thereafter.

Towards a Maiden JORC Resource

The Phase 2 drilling is a crucial step towards defining a maiden JORC-compliant resource, a key milestone for any mining project seeking to attract investment and commercial interest. Samples from both Phase 1 and Phase 2 drilling programs will feed into this research, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the mineralogy and processing characteristics of the Block 3 gallium mineralisation.

Pending the interpretation of Phase 2 results, Nimy plans to initiate a Phase 3 drilling program to further delineate the resource.
