Greenvale Energy Limited (ASX: GRV) has announced the successful completion of a significant geophysical milestone, having flown 7,300 line kilometres of airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys over its Elkedra and Douglas River uranium projects in Australia's Northern Territory. Conducted by Magspec Airborne Surveys using a specially modified Cessna 210, these surveys represent a foundational step in Greenvale’s uranium exploration strategy.

The surveys covered roughly half of the tenements EL33670 (Douglas River) and EL33756 (Elkedra), with the final flight lines completed on 18 May 2025. The data is now undergoing preliminary assessment by ASIS International and detailed interpretation by Arrow Geosciences, with results anticipated within the next two months.

This comprehensive airborne coverage completes Greenvale’s geophysical reconnaissance across its entire Northern Territory uranium portfolio, complementing earlier surveys over the Henbury and Jindare projects where elevated uranium anomalies were identified. The Douglas River Project, spanning approximately 465 square kilometres in the Daly Basin near the Pine Creek Mineral Field, lies within one of the world’s richest uranium provinces. Historical exploration has revealed significant anomalism for uranium and other minerals, underscoring the project’s potential.

The Elkedra Project covers 566 square kilometres in the Barkly region, featuring geological formations and granite intrusions known to host uranium and thorium anomalies. Both projects’ airborne surveys were flown at a low altitude of 40 metres with tight line spacing, designed to capture detailed geophysical signatures.

Following the interpretation of airborne data, Greenvale plans to initiate field campaigns during the 2025 dry season.
