Exploration Momentum Builds at Colosseum

Dateline Resources Limited (ASX – DTR) is advancing its 100%-owned Colosseum Gold-REE Project in California with encouraging progress in both geophysical and geochemical exploration activities. The magnetotelluric (MT) survey, designed to probe deep subsurface structures that could host gold and rare earth element mineralisation, is approximately 70% complete. Early 1D and 2D resistivity models from the first three survey lines have already been generated and are under technical review, offering promising insights into the project's geological framework.

Alongside the MT survey, the company has collected about half of its planned geochemical samples across the claim area. These samples are being sent to laboratories in batches for comprehensive multi-element analysis, including rare earth elements, with initial assay results anticipated in July. This phased approach allows Dateline to integrate emerging data sets rapidly and refine its exploration strategy.

The Colosseum Project already boasts a JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate of 27.1 million tonnes at 1.26 grams per tonne gold, equating to approximately 1.1 million ounces of gold. Notably, over 67% of this resource is classified as measured and indicated, underscoring the project's robust foundation. Recent economic assessments have valued the project at US$550 million with an internal rate of return of 61%, reflecting strong financial prospects.

Rare Earth Element Potential in Focus

Situated less than 10 kilometres from the Mountain Pass rare earth mine, Colosseum's geological setting suggests significant rare earth element (REE) potential. Dateline has commenced planning for its maiden REE-focused drilling campaign, aiming to unlock value from this dual gold-REE asset. The integration of geophysical and geochemical datasets will be pivotal in guiding this drilling program, which could position Colosseum as a strategic source of critical minerals.

Managing Director Stephen Baghdadi expressed optimism about the exploration progress, highlighting the systematic approach and the value of combining multiple data streams.
