Record-Breaking Drill Results

Sun Silver Limited has unveiled exceptional assay results from the first extensional drill hole of its 2025 program at the Maverick Springs Silver-Gold Project in Nevada. Drill hole MR25-211 intercepted a remarkable 70.1 metres grading 160 grams per tonne silver equivalent (AgEq), including a high-grade 22.4-metre interval at 460g/t AgEq. Most notably, the hole yielded the highest individual silver equivalent assay ever recorded at the project, an extraordinary 10,548g/t AgEq.

Expanding the Resource Footprint

This extensional hole was drilled to the northwest of the existing mineral resource and successfully intercepted mineralisation more than 100 metres beyond the current resource boundary. The results underscore the significant potential to expand the project’s already substantial inferred mineral resource, which currently stands at 480 million ounces silver equivalent. The mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, suggesting further growth opportunities.

Robust Drilling and Sampling Methodology

The drilling combined reverse circulation and diamond core techniques, with rigorous sampling and assay protocols to ensure data quality. Assays were conducted using four-acid digest and fire assay methods, with metallurgical recoveries for silver and gold assumed at 85%. The high-grade intervals are supported by detailed geological logging, revealing a highly fractured and silicified breccia with quartz veining and silver mineralisation.
