Strategic Advances at Minbrie

Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX:LML) has taken a significant step forward in its exploration efforts at the Minbrie Copper-Base Metals Project on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. The company announced the identification of multiple high-priority drill targets, underpinned by a comprehensive review of historic drilling data, new assay results, and advanced 3D geological modelling.

These developments come after Lincoln's rigorous reassessment throughout 2025, which included re-logging over 1,700 metres of historic diamond core and submitting 344 new laboratory assays. This work has notably de-risked the project by confirming zones of high-grade mineralisation and refining the geological understanding of the mineral system.

Targeting a Complex Mineral System

The Minbrie project lies within the Gawler Craton, a geological region renowned for hosting some of South Australia's most significant mineral deposits, including Olympic Dam and Carrapateena. Lincoln's exploration has revealed a multiphase sulphide system with four distinct mineralisation events, suggesting a complex and long-lived hydrothermal system with strong potential for copper and base metals.

Three structurally controlled trap zones have been delineated in the Northern Corridor of the project area. These zones are associated with key geological features such as the contact between magnetite iron formations and dolomite units, weathering fronts conducive to oxide enrichment, and fault intersections that may act as conduits for mineralising fluids.

Drill Targets and Upcoming Campaign

Among the standout targets are the BUDD192 zone, which previously returned a significant intercept of 29.5 metres grading 0.8% copper, 7.5% lead, 1.9% zinc, and 9 grams per tonne silver, and the BURCD030 extension, where portable XRF readings indicated copper concentrations exceeding 3%. Additional southern step-out targets have been identified, showing favourable geology and mineralisation indicators.

Lincoln is advancing drilling approvals, with regulatory submissions well underway and no anticipated delays. The company plans to commence drilling in the second half of 2025, initially focusing on Trap Zones 1 and 2 to test both oxide/supergene and fresh sulphide mineralisation.
