Critical Resources Limited (ASX – CRR) has initiated a systematic soil-geochemistry sampling program over a 3km by 2km area at its 100% owned Amoco Gold-Antimony Project in New South Wales. This program is designed to enhance the geological understanding and confidence in drill targeting across interpreted structural corridors known to host mineralisation.
The Amoco project lies within the highly prospective New England Fold Belt, a region renowned for its gold and antimony deposits. Notably, the project is situated approximately 19 kilometres southeast of Larvotto Resources’ Hillgrove Antimony-Gold operations and 14 kilometres east of Koonenberry Gold’s Enmore Gold Project, positioning Critical Resources well within a proven mineralised corridor.
Encouraging Early Results and Strategic Positioning
Initial rock chip sampling at Amoco has yielded promising results, with gold grades reaching as high as 17.9 grams per tonne and antimony concentrations up to 0.7%. Silver values have also been noted, with assays up to 80 grams per tonne.
