A New Chapter for Golconda

G50 Corp Limited (ASX – G50) has announced compelling results from its Phase 2 drilling program at the Golconda Project in Arizona, marking a significant milestone in the company’s exploration journey. The recent reverse circulation drilling has confirmed a new precious metals discovery, with wide and continuous zones of gold, silver, and zinc mineralization extending over a 700-meter strike length in the Tub Zone.

This discovery is notable not only for its scale but also for the quality of mineralization intersected. Among the highlights is a 47.2-meter intercept grading 2.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 40.2 g/t silver, including a higher-grade section of 16.8 meters at 5.19 g/t gold and 100.2 g/t silver. These results come from depths well below the oxidized zone, suggesting robust mineral continuity at depth.

Strategic Metals Beyond Gold and Silver

Beyond precious metals, the drilling program has also confirmed significant gallium mineralization within the alteration zones. Gallium, a critical metal for modern electronics and renewable energy technologies, is hosted in minerals such as muscovite, kaolinite, and potassium-feldspar. The presence of gallium at economically interesting grades adds a strategic dimension to the Golconda Project, aligning with global supply chain interests and increasing the project's potential value.

G50’s Managing Director, Mark Wallace, emphasized the geopolitical and commercial importance of this discovery, highlighting Arizona’s status as a premier mining jurisdiction and the project’s proximity to established mining operations. The company is optimistic about the role Golconda could play in securing a Western supply of both precious and strategic metals.

Technical Insights and Next Steps

The drilling targeted the central portion of the Tub Zone, a major northwest-trending crustal structure hosting multiple mineralized veins. The program completed 26 holes, with assays returned for half so far. Several holes ended in mineralization, indicating the deposit remains open both laterally and at depth. The mineralization style is mesothermal quartz-sulphide veins rich in pyrite, sphalerite, and galena, consistent with the region’s prolific mining history.

Importantly, the company’s systematic exploration approach; including detailed surface mapping, geochemical assays, and geophysical studies; continues to underpin these positive results. The balance of assay results is expected within the next month or so, with early planning underway for follow-up drilling to infill and test extensions of the discovery.
