A New Chapter at Marble Bar

Kali Metals Limited (ASX, KM1) has announced a significant milestone in its exploration journey with the identification of the Churchill Gold Prospect at its Marble Bar Project in Western Australia. This new high-grade area sits strategically between the previously known Tiger and Sherman Gold Prospects, collectively extending the cumulative strike length of gold-bearing zones to around 3 kilometres. The discovery was highlighted by rock-chip samples returning gold grades as high as 28.4 grams per tonne (g/t) at Churchill, complementing an outstanding 87.9 g/t result at Sherman.

Building on Strong Foundations

The Marble Bar Project, located in the eastern Pilbara region, has been under Kali Metals’ stewardship since early 2024. Prior exploration focused largely on lithium, with no prior drilling for gold. Kali’s recent reconnaissance efforts have dramatically shifted the narrative, revealing multiple gold prospects with promising surface mineralisation. The Tiger Gold Prospect now spans approximately 1.8 kilometres with rock-chip samples averaging 2.2 g/t Au, while Sherman extends over 700 metres with an average of 2.7 g/t Au. Churchill adds a further 600 metres of mineralised strike length, reinforcing the project's potential.

From Surface Sampling to Drilling

Rock-chip sampling, while inherently a point-sampling method and not fully representative of average grades, has provided compelling early indicators of mineralisation. Kali Metals has completed heritage clearances and is advancing preparations for its first-ever drilling campaign at Marble Bar. This next phase will focus on detailed drilling design, access track and pad construction, and further reconnaissance including drone surveys over newly granted tenements. The company’s exploration manager highlighted the importance of quartz veining and pyrite presence as key hosts for gold, guiding geophysical targeting strategies such as Induced Polarisation surveys.

With a combined strike length of approximately 3 kilometres across three gold prospects, Kali Metals is poised to transition from surface sampling to subsurface exploration.
