Ms. Bitz brings nearly three decades of global experience in medical technology, respiratory care, and digital health, positioning her to lead the company through its next phase of growth.

Based in the United States, Bitz succeeds interim CEO Jeremy Curnock Cook and will focus on accelerating the commercial rollout of Adherium’s Hailie® platform, particularly targeting the lucrative US market. The Hailie® solution enables remote monitoring of respiratory medication adherence, providing critical data to clinicians and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.

A Proven Track Record in Scaling Innovation

Ms. Bitz’s appointment follows a global executive search and reflects Adherium’s strategic intent to leverage her extensive leadership in scaling medical device businesses. Her background includes managing multi-segment global profit and loss portfolios exceeding US$500 million, overseeing significant mergers and acquisitions, and navigating complex regulatory pathways.

Adherium Chairman Lou Panaccio highlighted Bitz’s dynamic leadership and deep expertise in respiratory care as key assets for the company. “Her passion for improving respiratory patient outcomes and her proven ability to build high-performance teams make her the ideal leader to expand the reach and impact of our Hailie® technology,” he said.

Under Bitz’s leadership, Adherium aims to accelerate innovation and broaden access to its digital health solutions, which integrate sensors, mobile and desktop applications, and data-sharing tools. The CEO’s remuneration package includes a base salary of US$395,000, complemented by short-term and long-term incentives tied to performance, underscoring the company’s commitment to aligning leadership rewards with growth objectives.
