Strategic US Collaboration Opens Semiconductor Doors

Scalare Partners (ASX – SCP) has announced a significant strategic collaboration with Silicon Catalyst, the only US-based accelerator exclusively focused on semiconductor startups. Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Silicon Catalyst brings a global footprint with operations across the US, Japan, and the UK, supporting over 150 early-stage deep tech companies. This partnership provides Scalare with direct exposure to the fast-growing US semiconductor sector and access to Silicon Catalyst’s extensive network of industry partners, investors, and mentors.

CEO Carolyn Breeze highlighted the collaboration as a pivotal step in building Australia’s most comprehensive founder support ecosystem. The alliance is expected to facilitate future co-investments and bolster Scalare’s global portfolio of frontier technology ventures.

Acquisition of Tank Stream Labs to Boost Infrastructure

In early July 2025, Scalare entered into an agreement to acquire Tank Stream Labs, a leading provider of flexible office spaces and business services tailored to Australia’s technology sector. Tank Stream operates five facilities in Sydney, with additional offices in Melbourne and Adelaide, catering to startups, scale-ups, and corporate clients.

The acquisition, expected to complete in early September pending shareholder approval, will integrate Tank Stream’s premium coworking spaces into Scalare’s ecosystem. This move enhances Scalare’s ability to offer comprehensive support, infrastructure, and services to technology entrepreneurs, reinforcing its position as a catalyst for innovation.

Capital Raising and Digital Platform Development

To fund its growth initiatives, Scalare completed a $3 million placement in July 2025 and is currently conducting a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) to raise up to $1.08 million. Both capital raises are priced at $0.12 per share and include attaching options, subject to shareholder approval.

Meanwhile, Scalare continues to develop its proprietary Ascend digital platform, designed to scale advisory and capital readiness support for early-stage companies. Following a soft launch in Q3, Ascend has seen growing engagement and is slated for broader release later this year, underpinning Scalare’s strategy to digitise and expand its investment and advisory model.

Australian Technologies Competition Drives Innovation Pipeline

The Australian Technologies Competition (ATC), owned and operated by Scalare, progressed into its judging phase during the quarter. The competition attracted strong national interest across sectors such as AI, cleantech, digital infrastructure, healthtech, and advanced manufacturing. The ATC remains a key pipeline for high-potential ventures and a platform connecting innovators to commercial pathways and capital.

The 2025 ATC final is scheduled for 17 September, where standout semi-finalists will be showcased and winners announced, further spotlighting Scalare’s role in nurturing Australia’s deep tech ecosystem.

Bottom Line?

Scalare’s strategic US partnership and local acquisition signal a bold expansion phase, but integration and execution will be critical to unlocking value.
