Enova Advances Rare Earth Exploration in Brazil

Enova Mining Limited (ASX – ENV) has announced the commencement of its maiden diamond drilling campaign at the East Salinas Project, located within the Medina Granitic Complex in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This marks a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to validate and expand on earlier surface geochemical results that revealed highly anomalous rare earth element (REE) mineralisation, with total rare earth oxide (TREO) grades reaching up to 1.87%.

The drilling program is designed to test the depth continuity of mineralisation along a 4-kilometre strike, focusing on three key outcrop targets – Bald Hill, Naked Hill, and Hairy Hill. Enova plans to drill between 10 and 15 diamond holes, each ranging from 50 to 100 metres in depth, for a total of approximately 1,000 metres. This approach aims to provide critical subsurface data to assess the scale and grade variation of the REE mineralisation.

Robust Surface Sampling and Metallurgical Testing Underpin Drilling

Prior to drilling, Enova completed a tightened grid rock chip sampling program, collecting 57 rock chip samples and three bulk samples across the key target zones. These samples have been submitted for assay, with results expected by the end of August 2025. The company is also conducting preliminary metallurgical test work on bulk granite rock chip samples to evaluate mineral liberation, heavy liquid separation, and concentration techniques.
