Camplify Holdings Ltd (ASX, CHL), a leader in peer-to-peer caravan and motorhome rentals, has announced a significant extension of its partnership with the New South Wales Government. This expansion involves the provision of caravans as part of the state’s $50 million Housing Support Package, aimed at assisting residents severely affected by recent floods in the Mid North Coast and Hunter regions.

The program specifically targets homeowners and primary producers whose properties have been rendered uninhabitable and who lack insurance coverage for flood damage. By deploying caravans directly onto their land, Camplify enables these residents to stay connected to their communities and maintain a sense of normalcy during the rebuilding process.

Building on Proven Disaster Relief Experience

This extension follows Camplify’s initial pilot program in Woodburn and a broader deployment that saw 626 vehicles provided over an average 12-month period across 15 local government areas, including Lismore. That earlier initiative demonstrated the practical value of mobile accommodation solutions in disaster recovery, helping families and individuals remain on-site while their homes were repaired.
