Sherlock Crossing Drilling Kicks Off

In a significant step forward for its Pilbara exploration portfolio, Novo Resources Corp has commenced a maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Sherlock Crossing project in Western Australia's West Pilbara region. The program targets the historic Clarke Mine area, known for its high-grade gold-antimony (Au-Sb) mineralisation. Comprising eight holes over approximately 1,000 metres and spanning a 300-metre strike length, the drilling aims to delineate the down-dip continuity of surface-mapped high-grade veins, extend mineralisation along strike, and potentially define the plunge of the mineralising system.

Results from this initial drilling phase, expected by mid-October 2025, will inform subsequent programs designed to test a substantial antimony soil anomaly extending more than 1.5 kilometres south of the historic workings. Novo’s Executive Co-Chairman and Acting CEO, Mike Spreadborough, expressed enthusiasm about the program, highlighting its potential to unlock significant discoveries in the region.

Wyloo Project Advances Towards Drilling

Meanwhile, at the Wyloo project in the South Pilbara, Novo has been progressing geological understanding through detailed mapping and rock chip sampling. The polymetallic vein-style mineralisation identified here has yielded impressive assay results, including peak values of 482 g/t silver, 1.29% antimony, 0.93 g/t gold, 2.6% copper, 9.7% lead, and 15.95% zinc. These findings underscore the prospect’s polymetallic potential and have set the stage for a planned maiden RC drilling program in the fourth quarter of 2025, pending heritage and regulatory approvals.

Joint Venture and NSW Exploration Updates

In the Egina Gold Camp, Northern Star Resources Limited, Novo’s joint venture partner, has initiated aircore drilling at the Farno JV area, targeting prospective structural zones. This activity complements Novo’s broader exploration efforts across its Pilbara tenure.

On the east coast, Novo continues to advance its New South Wales gold projects. At Tibooburra, follow-up fieldwork includes downhole televiewer logging to generate detailed structural data, relogging of historic core to refine geological models, and comprehensive mapping to define new drill targets. These efforts build on earlier high-grade RC drilling results and aim to prepare for further drilling campaigns.

Additionally, the John Bull Gold Project awaits final regulatory and landholder approvals before commencing a ~1,750-metre RC drilling program planned for Q4 2025. This program will test multiple key targets, including John Bull Main and Hills Creek West.
