Significant Assay Results Confirm Deposit Growth

Aldoro Resources Limited (ASX:ARN) has announced assay results from its recent diamond drilling campaign at the Kameelburg Niobium and Rare Earth Elements (REE) deposit in Namibia. The assays from holes DD005C, DD008B, and DD008C confirm substantial mineralisation of REE, Niobium (Nb), and Molybdenum (Mo), with mineralisation continuing to extend beyond previously known boundaries.

Notably, diamond hole DD005C has extended mineralisation approximately 300 meters to the northwest, reinforcing the deposit’s scale and continuity. All three holes ended in mineralisation, indicating that the deposit remains open at depth and suggesting further potential for resource expansion.

Phase I Drilling Completes with Encouraging Results

The Phase I drilling program at Kameelburg comprised 24 diamond holes totaling 9,525 meters. The program has successfully delineated a mineralised footprint measuring roughly 1.35 kilometers in length, 1.25 kilometers in width, and extending to depths of up to 510 meters. Assay grades were reported using a 1% total rare earth oxide (TREO) cut-off, with significant intercepts showing strong grades in both upper REE-dominant layers and lower niobium-rich zones.

These results are expected to feed into an updated Maiden Resource Estimate scheduled for release in September. Aldoro anticipates a significant increase in both resource size and grade, particularly due to the focus on drilling the western portion of the carbonatite intrusive body, where higher-grade zones have been identified.

Looking Ahead, Phase II Drilling and Strategic Targets

With Phase I complete, Aldoro is preparing to ramp up exploration with Phase II drilling commencing in early October. This next phase will deploy two additional diamond drilling rigs and focus on three key objectives, confirming the presence of heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) at the Omuronga Carbonatite, testing the interpreted high-grade niobium zone at Kameelburg, and exploring the extent of mineralisation beyond the current 500-meter discovery horizon.

Chairperson Quinn Li highlighted the strategic importance of these objectives, emphasizing the potential for discovering a very large niobium deposit at depth. The arrival of larger diamond rigs capable of drilling beyond 750 meters will be critical to testing this hypothesis.

Geological Insights and Mineralisation Zoning

The Kameelburg carbonatite is a complex intrusive body formed from volatile-rich magma deep within the upper mantle. Mineralisation zoning is evident, with REE-dominant mineralisation concentrated near the top of the intrusion and niobium-rich zones enriched at depth and along the edges. Molybdenum mineralisation is associated with later-stage alkali granitic dykes.

This zonation pattern aligns with the crystallisation sequence of minerals from the magma, providing a geological framework that guides ongoing exploration efforts.

Aldoro’s drilling and sampling program adheres to industry best practices, including detailed geological logging, high sample recovery rates, and rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) procedures.
