136 Holes Define Significant Gold Mineralisation in Yandal’s Latest Drilling

Exploration Milestone at Arrakis

Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX – YRL) has announced the completion of a large-scale air-core (AC) drilling program and a seven-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at its Arrakis Prospect, part of the broader Caladan target area within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia. The AC program, comprising 136 holes totaling nearly 14,000 metres, has delineated a significant 2.2-kilometre-long mineralised gold structure within a wider 3.2-kilometre regolith anomaly.

The air-core drilling has delivered encouraging gold intercepts, with highlights including 11 metres at 2.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 90 metres depth, featuring a higher-grade 7-metre interval at 3.1 g/t Au. Other notable intercepts include 12 metres at 1.1 g/t and 11 metres at 1.4 g/t Au, underscoring the prospect’s potential.

RC Drilling Targets Fresh Rock Mineralisation

Following the air-core results, Yandal Resources completed seven RC holes totaling 1,374 metres, designed to test the continuity of mineralisation in fresh rock beneath the previously identified air-core intercepts. The RC drilling has intersected broad zones of shearing and alteration, indicative of prospective host structures. Assay results from this program are anticipated over the coming weeks, expected to provide critical insights into the geometry and grade continuity of the mineralised system.

Heritage Surveys and Exploration Outlook

To facilitate ongoing exploration, the company has completed the first of two heritage surveys across the Arrakis Prospect, clearing drill lines spaced 200 metres apart. A second, more detailed survey with closer line spacing is scheduled for late September or October. These surveys are essential for regulatory compliance and community engagement, enabling further drilling activities.

Yandal Resources is maintaining a robust cash position and an active exploration schedule for the remainder of 2025. Upcoming catalysts include the release of RC drilling results, further air-core drilling to expand the known mineralised zones, and initial results from drilling at the New England Granite target area. Additionally, the company anticipates completing the Gordons Gold Project tenement sale, which will provide additional capital and strategic partnership opportunities.

Strategic Positioning in a Premier Gold Belt

The Arrakis Prospect lies within the Yandal Greenstone Belt, a prolific gold-producing region in Western Australia, situated approximately 60 kilometres south of the established Jundee mining complex and near the recent Siona discovery. The ongoing exploration success at Arrakis adds to Yandal Resources’ growing portfolio of advanced gold projects in this highly prospective terrain.

While the true widths of mineralisation remain to be confirmed, and RC assay results are pending, the current data suggest a compelling target with significant scale and grade potential. The company’s methodical approach, combining broad-spaced air-core drilling with targeted RC follow-up, positions it well to refine resource estimates and advance towards development decisions.
