Critical Resources Limited (ASX, CRR) has announced a major advancement in its exploration efforts at the Amoco Gold-Antimony Project in New South Wales. The company’s recent soil geochemistry program has defined a robust mineralised corridor stretching approximately two kilometres, marked by elevated gold, antimony, and arsenic values. This discovery aligns with key structural trends in the New England Fold Belt, a region known for its rich mineral endowment.

The soil sampling campaign, comprising 364 samples on a detailed grid, returned gold concentrations up to 21 parts per billion, antimony levels reaching 14.65 parts per million, and arsenic values as high as 351 parts per million. These multi-element anomalies coincide spatially, reinforcing the presence of a structurally controlled gold-antimony system. The results build on historical rock chip samples that recorded gold grades up to 17.9 grams per tonne and antimony up to 0.7%, underscoring the project's potential.

Amoco’s location is strategically significant, situated roughly 19 kilometres southeast of Larvotto Resources’ Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project and 14 kilometres east of Koonenberry Gold’s Enmore Project. Both neighbours have demonstrated substantial mineralisation, suggesting that Amoco sits within a fertile gold-antimony corridor.

With all necessary regulatory approvals secured, Critical Resources is preparing to mobilise a reverse circulation (RC) drill rig to site on 29 September 2025. The maiden drilling program aims to test the priority targets defined by the soil geochemistry and historical data. CEO Tim Wither highlighted the importance of this next phase, noting that drilling will provide critical geological insights and help validate the exploration model.

The Amoco Project forms part of Critical Resources’ broader Halls Peak portfolio, which includes the Mayview Antimony-Gold Project currently progressing through permitting.
