Torque Metals Limited (ASX, TOR) has announced compelling results from its ongoing exploration at the Paris Gold Project in Western Australia. Recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling southwest of the Paris deposit returned a standout intercept of 6 metres grading 7.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 265 metres depth in hole 25PRC174. This intercept extends known mineralisation approximately 40 metres west of previous high-grade results, confirming continuity along a newly emerging southern corridor.

The company’s use of down-hole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying has been instrumental in identifying new conductor plates, geophysical anomalies associated with mineralisation. Plates C17, C18, and C19 have been modelled, linking high-grade zones and outlining at least 280 metres of continuous mineralised strike in the Paris Southern lode. Importantly, this strike remains open to the west and lies outside the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), suggesting significant upside potential.

The arrival of a second RC rig in early October will enable the company to accelerate drilling, systematically testing the growing conductor network through 2026.

The Paris Gold Project currently holds a Mineral Resource Estimate of 250,000 ounces at an average grade of 3.1 g/t gold, spanning three deposits, Paris, HHH, and Observation. However, the recent drilling and geophysical results highlight mineralisation well outside the current resource boundaries, particularly along a 4-kilometre strike within a highly prospective 57-kilometre greenstone belt.

Historical exploration in the region has been limited, and the project’s proximity to major gold producers such as Westgold’s Beta Hunt and St Ives Goldfields underscores its strategic importance.
