Emerging Gold Potential at Beatty Park South

Tambourah Metals Ltd (ASX – TMB) has delivered a compelling update from its Beatty Park South project in Western Australia, revealing high-grade gold intersections that reinforce the prospect’s potential as a significant new gold system. The recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling program, designed to follow up on earlier encouraging results, has intersected a standout 24 metres grading 18.8 grams per tonne gold, including a remarkable 4 metres at 92.2 grams per tonne.

This latest drilling targeted extensions immediately east and along strike from a previously reported high-grade intercept of 6 metres at 25.8 grams per tonne gold, confirming continuity and expansion of the mineralised zone. The mineralisation occurs within partly weathered ultramafic rocks, with pyrite present in the bedrock, suggesting a structurally controlled gold system that remains open for further expansion.

Drilling Highlights and Geological Insights

The eight-hole RC program, averaging 98 metres in depth, tested a 500-metre-long soil anomaly, of which only about 25% has been drilled to date. Significant results include additional intercepts such as 3 metres at 6.6 grams per tonne and 3 metres at 3.7 grams per tonne gold, reinforcing the presence of a shallow, high-grade lens of mineralisation. The drilling also revealed a near-vertical dip to the host structure, which may represent a feeder zone to the gold mineralisation.

Geological logging identified chlorite schists with intense silica alteration and disseminated pyrite, consistent with a gold-bearing system. The high-grade interval within the saprolite zone, lacking pyrite, suggests that the primary gold-bearing structure lies deeper, providing a compelling target for upcoming drilling phases.

Next Steps and Exploration Strategy

Tambourah Metals plans to complete a first-pass aircore drilling program of approximately 3,000 metres to better define the extent of the gold system. Concurrently, the company will assess geophysical methods, including induced polarization surveys, to identify zones of alteration and sulphide mineralisation that could guide deeper RC drilling. Preparations for a 2,000-metre RC drilling campaign targeting bedrock mineralisation are underway, pending statutory approvals.

The company is also actively negotiating heritage access agreements with local traditional owners, a critical step to ensure uninterrupted exploration progress. These developments position Beatty Park South as a promising exploration frontier within Tambourah’s broader portfolio, which includes gold and critical mineral projects across Western Australia.

Beatty Park South lies within the Bryah Basin, a region known for Proterozoic gold deposits. Historical exploration dating back to the 1980s identified gold anomalies and mineralisation, but Tambourah’s recent drilling has surpassed previous grade expectations.
