Exceptional Gold Grades Confirmed at Sheoak

Auravelle Metals Limited (ASX, AUV) has announced compelling assay results from its maiden Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the Sheoak prospect, part of the Nuckulla Hill Gold Project in South Australia. Detailed 1 metre resampling of July 2025 drill samples has confirmed very high-grade gold mineralisation, with standout intercepts including 6 metres at 8.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, highlighted by a remarkable 1 metre sample grading 25.4 g/t Au.

These results not only validate the initial 4 metre composite assays reported in August but also underscore the prospect’s potential to host significant gold mineralisation. The mineralised zone extends over at least 150 metres of strike and remains open to the north, south, and at depth, suggesting further upside as exploration continues.

Strategic Location within a Major Gold Corridor

Sheoak lies within the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, a major structural corridor known for hosting gold deposits, including Barton Gold Holdings Limited’s 1.6 million ounce Tunkillia Gold Project nearby. Auravelle’s Managing Director Andrew Muir emphasized the importance of this setting, noting that Sheoak is just one of several prospects within this prolific gold-bearing zone.

The geological context points to hydrothermal lode-style, shear zone-hosted gold mineralisation, with structurally controlled alteration and disseminated sulphides. The company’s exploration approach is methodical, combining historical data with modern drilling and sampling techniques to refine target zones.

Ongoing and Planned Exploration Activities

Following the successful July program, Auravelle completed a follow-up drilling campaign in mid-September, targeting extensions of the high-grade zones and other prospects within Nuckulla Hill, as well as the Tunkillia North gold-in-calcrete anomaly. Assay results from this round are expected in October, which will provide further clarity on the project’s scale and grade continuity.

Looking ahead, the company plans additional step-out RC drilling at Sheoak in November, contingent on receiving heritage approvals after a recent survey. Complementing drilling efforts, Auravelle will undertake a large-scale soil sampling program in South Australia and aircore drilling at its Crown Project in Western Australia, signaling a broadening of its gold exploration footprint.
