Australian healthcare technology company Micro-X Ltd (ASX – MX1) has secured a $3.3 million purchase order from the Malaysian Ministry of Health, facilitated by its recently appointed local distributor, Integrated Medical System Sdn Bhd (IMS). This contract represents Micro-X’s first major government order in Southeast Asia and underscores the growing international acceptance of its Rover Plus mobile digital X-ray units.

The order follows a successful government tender process led by IMS, which has a strong track record in medical technology distribution across Malaysia. Delivery of the units is scheduled to commence in October 2025, marking a key milestone in Micro-X’s strategic push into the Southeast Asian healthcare market.

The Rover Plus mobile X-ray system leverages Micro-X’s proprietary carbon nanotube (CNT) cold cathode technology, enabling a lightweight, highly mobile device that delivers hospital-grade imaging.
