Exceptional Drilling Results Expand Resource Potential

McLaren Minerals Limited (ASX – MML) has delivered a compelling update from its 2025 Phase 1 drilling campaign at the McLaren Titanium Project, located in Western Australia's Eucla Basin. The company announced bonanza-grade intercepts, including a standout 6 metres at 24.7% heavy minerals (HM) from 21 metres depth, confirming the presence of high-value titanium mineralisation beneath previously explored horizons.

These results not only validate McLaren’s geological model but also reveal a previously unrecognised mineralised sequence beneath the traditional marine sediment targets. This deeper, older strand of mineralisation had largely escaped earlier drilling efforts, with around 60% of historic holes either not reaching sufficient depth or not assayed. The discovery significantly broadens the exploration and development potential of the deposit.

Comprehensive Assays Inform Resource Upgrade

All assay results from the Phase 1 program have now been received and are being integrated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). This update is expected to confirm a substantial resource upgrade, reinforcing confidence in the project's scale and quality. The MRE will underpin the Prefeasibility Study (PFS), which is in its final stages, setting the stage for advancing the McLaren Titanium Project towards development.

McLaren’s Managing Director, Simon Finnis, highlighted the significance of the new mineralised sequence, noting that the high-grade mineralisation occurs within highly weathered material below the traditional target zones. This discovery opens up new extensional opportunities both laterally and at depth, with mineralisation remaining open for further exploration.

The McLaren Titanium Project hosts an Indicated and Inferred Resource of 280 million tonnes at 4.8% HM, comprising valuable titanium minerals such as ilmenite, rutile, leucoxene, and zircon.
