Recent soil auger sampling has delineated a second, parallel zone of gold anomalism, extending the known prospect area by approximately 600 metres to the south of the previously drilled high-grade intercept SFSRC001.
The original drill hole SFSRC001, completed earlier this year, returned impressive results including 40 metres grading 1.96 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from surface, with higher-grade intervals within this zone. This initial success has been bolstered by rock-chip sampling of gossanous float material, which yielded assays as high as 25.6 g/t gold, highlighting the prospect’s potential for significant gold mineralisation.
