Phase 2 Drilling Launches at Weebo

Magmatic Resources Limited has commenced its eagerly anticipated Phase 2 drilling program at the Weebo Gold Project, situated in the prolific Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. This follows a successful Phase 1 campaign that highlighted significant shallow gold mineralisation, particularly at the Scone Stone and Ockerburry prospects.

The new drilling phase is ambitious, with plans for approximately 3,500 metres of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and an additional 5,000 metres of air-core drilling. The program aims to test advanced targets across multiple prospects including Scone Stone, Ockerburry, Scholl’s Find, and Sir Samuel.

Building on Promising Phase 1 Results

Phase 1 drilling, completed in October 2025, provided compelling evidence of gold mineralisation near surface. Notably, at Ockerburry 3, several drill holes returned impressive grades such as 12 metres at 5.13 grams per tonne gold, including an 8-metre interval grading 7.60 grams per tonne. These results suggest the presence of supergene gold mineralisation, a secondary enrichment process that can enhance the economic potential of deposits.

At Scone Stone, RC drilling confirmed high-grade mineralised structures hosted within an intrusive quartz-feldspar porphyry unit. However, challenging ground conditions limited the depth and spacing of holes, underscoring the technical complexity of the site.

Strategic Focus and Management

The Phase 2 program will test a series of five drill lines at Scone Stone designed to intersect an interpreted high-grade east dipping structure over a strike length of more than 200 metres. Meanwhile, at Ockerburry, the focus will be on three prospects, with particular attention on Prospect 3 where supergene gold was identified in the previous campaign.

To oversee these critical activities, Magmatic has appointed a full-time project geologist, Masha Pastuhov, as Project Manager. This move signals the company’s commitment to advancing exploration efficiently and effectively on site.
