Exploration Takes Off at Bush Chook

Moho Resources Ltd (ASX – MOH) is embarking on a significant new chapter with the commencement of its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Swan Prospect, part of its expansive Bush Chook Project in Western Australia's prolific Pilbara region. Scheduled to start within two weeks, the program aims to drill between 1,000 and 1,600 metres across multiple lines to test a compelling gold soil anomaly measuring 1.4 kilometres in length and 250 metres in width.

The Swan Prospect anomaly, defined by soil samples containing up to 330 parts per billion (ppb) gold, lies just 10 kilometres from AIM Mining’s Blue Spec Gold-Antimony deposit, a high-grade resource boasting 242,000 ounces of gold at 24.3 grams per tonne. This proximity to a major deposit underscores the prospectivity of Moho’s ground.

Unlocking Untapped Potential

What makes Bush Chook particularly intriguing is the presence of over 100 historic gold anomalies scattered across the project area, none of which have been drilled until now. Moho’s recent soil sampling campaign has refined these targets, with Swan emerging as a priority for initial testing. The project’s location within the Mosquito Creek Basin, a region with a rich history of gold production and resources, adds further geological weight to the exploration effort.

Moho’s Chairman, Peter Christie, expressed confidence in the project’s potential, highlighting the strategic advantage of Bush Chook’s large, low-cost landholding adjacent to existing mining infrastructure. The Pilbara region has been a hotbed for mineral discoveries over the past decade, with companies like De Grey Mining transforming the landscape through major finds such as the Hemi Gold deposit. Bush Chook’s location near AIM Mining’s Nullagine Gold Project and the Golden Eagle processing plant positions it well to leverage existing infrastructure, potentially accelerating development timelines if exploration proves successful.

Moho’s exploration team is preparing to intensify fieldwork in 2026, converting the numerous historic anomalies into drill-ready targets through systematic soil and rock chip sampling, followed by targeted drilling campaigns. The company’s well-funded status supports this aggressive exploration approach.
