Resolution Minerals Ltd (RML) has initiated a focused Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at its Golden Gate Prospect, part of the broader Horse Heaven Project in the United States. This three-hole, 2,789-foot campaign is designed to quickly test the extensions of gold mineralisation identified in the company’s maiden diamond core drilling earlier this year.
The initial diamond core holes; HH-GG25-001C, HH-GG25-002C, and HH-GG25-003C; delivered encouraging results, intersecting broad, continuous gold mineralisation from surface and notably ending in mineralised zones. Such outcomes suggest the presence of a substantial intrusion-related gold system, a type of deposit known for its size and potential economic viability.
Strategic Drilling to Define the System’s Scale
The current RC drilling program is strategically designed to explore the northern and southern strike extensions, as well as the width and depth continuity of the mineralised system. By operating within the existing drill permit area, the company is able to advance exploration rapidly and cost-effectively without the delays associated with new platform approvals.
Specifically, the three holes target key areas – DS18-4 aims at northern strike and western width extensions; DS16-3 focuses on depth and southern strike extensions; and DS19-2 tests the southern strike extension. These efforts will help delineate the mineralised footprint ahead of a more extensive 50-hole drill program currently in the permitting stage.
