High-Grade Gold Discovery at HHH

Torque Metals (ASX – TOR) has announced a promising step-out drilling result from its HHH deposit, part of the Paris Gold Camp in Western Australia. The standout intercept comes from hole 25HRC094, which returned 5 metres at 15.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold starting from 149 metres downhole, approximately 114 metres vertical depth. This high-grade zone lies within a broader 16-metre interval averaging 5 g/t gold, underscoring the continuity and strength of mineralisation at relatively shallow depths.

The HHH deposit, located about one kilometre north of the Paris deposit, is part of a structurally controlled gold system hosted in mafic and ultramafic volcanic rocks. The mineralisation is characterised by quartz and quartz-carbonate veining with sulphide minerals such as pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, which are key indicators for gold-bearing zones.

Exploration Strategy and Structural Insights

The drilling campaign is guided by downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveys, a geophysical technique that detects conductive sulphide zones often associated with gold mineralisation. Torque’s Managing Director, Cristian Moreno, highlighted the structural analogy between HHH and the nearby Paris deposit, where mineralisation extends down to about 420 metres. Another hole, 25HRC093, intersected strong sulphide mineralisation with visible quartz veining, interpreted as a shallow western extension of the current resource. Assay results for this hole are pending, but the presence of semi-massive sulphides is expected to generate robust DHEM responses, providing valuable vectors for ongoing exploration.

With fresh drill holes now available for DHEM surveys, Torque plans to accelerate its exploration program across the Paris Gold Camp. The company’s existing cash reserves of $4.1 million as of 30 September 2025 provide a solid financial foundation to continue drilling and geophysical work aimed at expanding the known mineral resources.

The Paris Gold Project encompasses a 57-kilometre strike length within a prolific greenstone belt, hosting multiple deposits including Paris, HHH, and Observation. The combined Mineral Resource Estimate stands at approximately 250,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 3.1 g/t, with HHH contributing about 73,000 ounces at 2.0 g/t. The project’s geological setting is analogous to other major orogenic gold systems in the Yilgarn Craton, such as the Kalgoorlie Golden Mile.
