Yundamindra Gold Project Extends Mineralised Strike to 2.5km with New High-Grade Zones

Exploration Breakthrough at Yundamindra

Arika Resources Limited (ASX – ARI) has reported a significant extension of gold mineralisation at its Yundamindra Gold Project in Western Australia. The company’s recent extensional drilling along the Landed at Last structure has successfully confirmed continuous gold mineralisation over a strike length exceeding 2.5 kilometres, a threefold increase from previously tested areas.

This breakthrough comes from wide-spaced step-out drilling designed to test uncharted zones between historical workings at the northern end of the Yellow Brick Road within the Western Corridor. The results reveal broad zones of low to medium-grade gold mineralisation with internal higher-grade intervals, including standout intercepts such as 19 metres at 1.00 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 33 metres depth and a newly discovered footwall lode returning 8 metres at 2.14 g/t gold from 184 metres.

A New Target Emerges

Among the highlights is hole 25AYRC125, which intersected a previously unknown zone of strong gold mineralisation beneath the main Landed at Last lode. This footwall discovery, featuring grades up to 9.87 g/t gold over 1 metre, has been earmarked as a high-priority target for follow-up drilling. The mineralised corridor remains open along strike and at depth, suggesting substantial upside potential beyond the current footprint.

Managing Director Justin Barton emphasised the significance of these results, noting that this is the first-ever drill testing of these step-out areas. He highlighted the under-explored nature of the project and the confirmation that the mineralisation is hosted by the same structure as the known Landed at Last deposit, effectively opening a new prospective corridor for exploration.

Ongoing Drilling and Broader Project Context

To date, Arika has completed approximately 20,000 metres of drilling as part of its ongoing campaign, with assays pending for 30 holes. Drilling continues at Pennyweight Point, testing down-plunge extensions of previously reported high-grade intersections. The company is also preparing to test new targets along the Red Brick Road Trend in the Eastern Corridor, identified through recent geophysical surveys.

The Yundamindra Gold Project is strategically located within the world-class Northeastern Goldfields mining district, near major producing mines such as Sunrise Dam and Wallaby. The project’s geological setting, dominated by granite domes and greenstone belts, is highly prospective for orogenic gold deposits. Arika’s systematic exploration approach is unlocking new mineralised zones that could underpin a significant resource base.

With the Landed at Last structure now confirmed over an extended strike and a new footwall lode discovered, Arika is poised to accelerate resource delineation drilling. The company’s methodical step-out drilling strategy continues to reveal the scale and continuity of gold mineralisation, reinforcing Yundamindra’s potential as a major gold project in Western Australia.
