A Milestone Order from Holcim Ecuador

Eden Innovations Limited (ASX – EDE) has announced a significant commercial milestone with Holcim Ecuador placing its largest order to date for EdenCrete®Pz7, valued at approximately A$514,833 (US$341,850). This order, scheduled for delivery starting January 2026, will supply nine of Holcim Ecuador's largest concrete plants, underscoring growing confidence in Eden's proprietary nanomaterial concrete additive.

Since February 2024, Holcim Ecuador has purchased over A$1 million worth of EdenCrete®Pz7, with the latest order pushing total sales to around US$697,870. Eden Innovations now anticipates annual sales to Holcim Ecuador will grow to about US$800,000, reflecting demand that has already exceeded earlier projections.

Expanding Footprint Through Global Trials

This growing order flow follows three years of extensive trials conducted by Holcim Group across multiple continents, including France, the USA, Canada, the UK, Mexico, and Ecuador. The trials have demonstrated EdenCrete®Pz7's ability to improve concrete performance, particularly in high-strength and ECOPact mixes, which are designed to reduce environmental impact.

Further momentum is evident in North America through Eden's engagement with Amrize, Holcim's spin-off operating 269 concrete plants across the USA and Canada. Several Amrize plants have already installed EdenCrete®Pz7 bulk storage and dispensing equipment, with trials underway in states like Texas and Minnesota, indicating a promising pipeline for future sales growth.

The Promise of EdenCrete®Pz7

EdenCrete®Pz7 is a proprietary carbon-strengthened concrete additive that enhances multiple performance characteristics such as compressive, flexural, and tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and reduced permeability. Its ability to enable higher proportions of pozzolans, waste by-products with low greenhouse gas footprints, to replace Portland cement without compromising concrete quality positions it well in the rapidly growing market for lower-carbon construction materials.

With relatively few competitors offering comparable benefits, EdenCrete®Pz7 stands out as a key innovation for infrastructure projects requiring durable, longer-lasting concrete with a reduced environmental impact. This aligns closely with Holcim Group’s sustainability goals and Eden Innovations’ strategy to achieve positive cash flow in calendar year 2026.

Looking Ahead

The expanding relationship with Holcim Ecuador and broader Holcim Group markets, combined with successful trials and installations in North America, sets a strong foundation for Eden Innovations’ growth. Continued adoption of EdenCrete®Pz7 could unlock further sales opportunities across multiple regions and cement Eden’s position as a leader in advanced concrete additives.

Bottom Line?

Eden Innovations’ growing orders from Holcim signal a turning point as it moves closer to sustainable profitability and broader market penetration.
