Artemis Resources Unveils Expanding Gold Zone at Titan East with Follow-Up Drilling Underway

Mining By Maxwell Dee 3 min read

Artemis Resources confirms a significant gold-bearing shear zone at Titan East near its Carlow deposit, highlighted by a wide 19m intersection at 1.6g/t Au and a previous high-grade 5m intercept at 13.1g/t Au. Diamond drilling has commenced to better define this emerging gold system.

  • Wide gold intersection of 19m @ 1.6g/t Au in drill hole 25ARRC025
  • High-grade intercept of 5m @ 13.1g/t Au in drill hole 25ARRC006
  • Diamond drilling underway to define shear zone geometry
  • Multiple RC holes show broad alteration and veining consistent with gold mineralisation
  • Expanded drilling campaign planned for early 2026

Emerging Gold Zone Confirmed at Titan East

Artemis Resources (ASX – ARV) has provided a compelling update on its Titan East prospect, part of the broader Carlow Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling has confirmed the presence of a significant gold-bearing shear zone, with a standout wide intersection of 19 metres at 1.6 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) from 127 metres depth in drill hole 25ARRC025. This follows a previously reported high-grade intercept of 5 metres at 13.1 g/t Au from 132 metres in hole 25ARRC006, underscoring the prospectivity of the newly identified Titan East shear zone.

Drilling Progress and Geological Insights

The November 2025 RC drilling program tested a 600-metre strike length of the shear zone, with five of six holes intersecting broad zones of alteration and quartz veining, hallmarks of gold mineralisation. While assay results from several holes remain pending, visual observations have been encouraging. To better understand the geometry and scale of the mineralised structure, Artemis commenced diamond drilling in December, with hole 25ARDD006 successfully completed at 255.5 metres. Core photos reveal intensive quartz veining and strong alteration, although assay results are awaited to confirm gold content.

Strategic Significance and Next Steps

Located just 1.5 kilometres from the existing Carlow deposit, which hosts an inferred resource of 374,000 ounces of gold and 64,000 tonnes of copper, Titan East represents a compelling growth opportunity for Artemis. Executive Director Jozsef Patarica highlighted the potential for a substantial, coherent mineralised system beneath shallow cover, with the combination of wide and high-grade intersections reinforcing the interpretation of a shear-hosted gold structure with encouraging continuity.

Looking ahead, Artemis plans to complete detailed logging and sampling of the diamond core in early January, with assay results expected in the March quarter of 2026. These results will inform a substantial follow-up drilling campaign scheduled for early 2026, aimed at expanding the geological model and refining drill targets along the shear zone.

Cautionary Notes and Exploration Context

While visual signs of quartz veining and alteration are promising, Artemis cautions that these observations do not confirm gold mineralisation without laboratory assay verification. The company adheres to rigorous sampling and quality control protocols, with all assays conducted by ALS Global Laboratories in Perth. The current drill spacing and data are insufficient for resource estimation, but the ongoing programs are designed to build the geological understanding necessary for future resource definition.

Situated within a highly prospective and rapidly emerging gold province, Artemis’s Titan East discovery adds momentum to its portfolio, which includes other projects in the Pilbara and Paterson regions, as well as lithium joint ventures. The proximity to infrastructure hubs like Karratha and Dampier Port further enhances the strategic value of the Carlow Gold-Copper Project.

Bottom Line?

As assay results and further drilling unfold in early 2026, Titan East could reshape Artemis’s resource outlook and bolster its position in the Pilbara gold scene.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the pending assay results from diamond hole 25ARDD006 confirm high-grade gold mineralisation?
  • How extensive and continuous is the Titan East shear zone beyond the current 600m strike tested?
  • What impact will the expanded drilling campaign have on Artemis’s overall resource estimates at Carlow?
