Catalina Resources Limited (ASX, CTN) has taken a significant procedural step by commencing formal heritage engagement at its wholly owned Beasley Creek Project in Western Australia. This move is essential for clarifying the heritage framework and ensuring that future exploration activities proceed responsibly and in compliance with relevant legislation.

The company has appointed specialist heritage legal advisers and initiated dialogue with the relevant Aboriginal representative body to confirm the status of the existing Heritage Protection Agreement. This engagement aims to establish a clear and respectful pathway for exploration, reflecting Catalina’s commitment to governance and stakeholder collaboration.

Beasley Creek, Underexplored with High Potential

Located within a proven gold district that includes the former Paulsens Gold Operation, Beasley Creek remains relatively underexplored. Historical work has been limited, but several priority targets have emerged, most notably the Flamingo Target. An independent review highlighted Flamingo as a key focus area due to the convergence of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data indicating a structurally controlled mineralised system consistent with other successful gold deposits in the region.

This geological promise provides a solid foundation for Catalina’s exploration plans, which include further surface geochemical sampling to refine targets and preparatory work for potential drilling, all contingent on heritage approvals.

This includes expanding reconnaissance work across additional tenure as it becomes available and preparing for potential drilling campaigns.
