Oakajee Corporation Limited has announced promising results from its recent aircore drilling campaign at the Paynes Find Gold Project in Western Australia. The program, completed in October 2025, involved 28 drill holes totalling 1,258 metres aimed at following up on previously identified anomalous gold mineralisation.

The highlight of this campaign is the discovery of a new gold mineralised shear zone on the western side of the drill lines. This zone, associated with sheared mafic rocks near a mafic/felsic contact, returned assays as high as 925 parts per billion (ppb) gold in hole PFAC122 and 100ppb in PFAC123. These results suggest a significant new target concealed beneath approximately 20 metres of lake clay and gravel.

Geological Context and Significance

The newly identified mineralisation trends north-northwest and is interpreted to extend over a potential strike length of about 2 kilometres. The zone remains open along strike to the north, south, and west, indicating substantial exploration upside. The mineralised shear zone lies close to a granite contact, a geological setting often favourable for gold deposits in the region.

Previous drilling at Paynes Find South had already indicated anomalous gold values, but this new zone represents a distinct and potentially more extensive target. The presence of elevated pathfinder elements such as arsenic, bismuth, copper, cobalt, and tungsten further supports the prospectivity of the area.

Next Steps and Market Implications

Oakajee is currently planning follow-up aircore drilling to better define the extent and continuity of this new gold zone. The timing of this next phase will depend on securing statutory approvals and the availability of drilling crews. Given the early-stage nature of the discovery, further drilling will be critical to establish the true width, grade continuity, and ultimately the resource potential.
