Diamond Drilling Resumes at Titan East

Artemis Resources Limited (ASX – ARV) has announced the recommencement of diamond drilling at its Titan East gold discovery, part of the Carlow Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia's Pilbara region. This move follows encouraging results from recent reverse circulation drilling that identified a new gold-bearing shear zone beneath shallow cover.

The significance of Titan East lies in its proximity; just 1.5 kilometres; from the established Carlow deposit, which boasts an inferred resource of 374,000 ounces of gold and 64,000 tonnes of copper. The discovery of a structurally controlled gold zone outside the main Carlow resource corridor suggests a broader mineralised footprint along the Carlow-Titan trend, potentially expanding Artemis’s resource base.

Promising Intercepts Highlight Potential

Recent drilling has delivered notable intercepts, including 19 metres at 1.6 grams per tonne gold from 127 metres depth and a previously reported high-grade intercept of 5 metres at 13.1 grams per tonne gold from 132 metres. These results underpin the geological model of a coherent shear zone hosting significant gold mineralisation.

The current diamond drilling program involves two holes totalling approximately 450 metres, designed to refine the structural understanding of the shear zone and test the continuity of mineralisation along strike and at depth. The program aims to collect oriented core samples to better define the shear orientation, vein architecture, and controls on mineralisation, which are critical for planning a larger follow-up campaign.

Strategic Implications and Next Steps

Executive Director Jozsef Patarica emphasised the rapid progression of Titan East from a conceptual target to an emerging gold zone with “genuine scale potential.” The proximity to Carlow offers a clear pathway to near-term value creation, especially if further drilling confirms the extent and grade of mineralisation.

Assay results from the December 2025 drilling program remain pending, with expectations for release during the March quarter of 2026. These results will be pivotal in shaping the scope and scale of subsequent exploration efforts.

Artemis continues to advance its portfolio across the Pilbara and other Western Australian projects, leveraging its fully permitted Radio Hill processing facility to potentially fast-track development should exploration success continue.

Bottom Line?

Titan East’s evolving story could soon redefine Artemis’s growth trajectory in the Pilbara gold scene.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will upcoming assay results confirm the continuity and grade of the Titan East shear zone?
  • How might Titan East’s mineralisation impact the overall resource estimate for the Carlow Gold-Copper Project?
  • What timeline and scale can investors expect for the broader follow-up drilling campaign?
