Strong Start in Greenland

Dalaroo Metals Limited (ASX, DAL) is gearing up for an ambitious 2026 exploration campaign at its wholly owned Blue Lagoon Critical Minerals Project in southern Greenland. This follows a standout maiden field season in 2025 that rapidly elevated the project’s profile as a district-scale opportunity for rare earth elements (REE), zirconium, and niobium.

The 2025 program delivered encouraging early results, with all 113 samples returning anomalous values over a 2.7-kilometre strike length. Peak surface assays reached up to 0.81% total rare earth oxides (TREO), a grade that compares favourably with other globally recognised alkaline-hosted REE systems. Notably, the heavy rare earth oxides (HREO), including critical magnet metals dysprosium and terbium, showed strong lateral continuity, underpinning the project’s strategic potential.

Building on Momentum with a Systematic Approach

With this solid technical foundation, Dalaroo is fast-tracking its 2026 exploration program to move from surface sampling towards defining drill-ready targets. The upcoming work will integrate targeted geophysical surveys such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and lagoon depth scanning, systematic auger drilling, and detailed geochemical follow-up. These efforts aim to refine the geological model, assess mineralisation continuity at depth, and identify priority zones for accelerated advancement.

In addition to exploration, the company plans comprehensive mineralogical and metallurgical sampling to better understand ore characteristics and potential processing pathways. Early indications of natural upgrading in finer grain-size fractions suggest promising low-cost beneficiation options, a critical factor for future economic viability.

Blue Lagoon’s location within Greenland’s Paleoproterozoic rift province, known for its alkaline intrusive complexes, adds geological credibility to the project’s prospectivity. Greenland’s status as a conflict-free jurisdiction with increasing strategic interest in critical minerals supply chains further enhances the project’s appeal.
