Exploration Progress at Ilo Este and Chancho al Palo

Solis Minerals has delivered promising assay results from its recent drilling campaigns at the Ilo Este and Chancho al Palo projects in southern Peru. The company’s latest diamond drilling at Ilo Este, completed in December 2025, encountered broad zones of anomalous copper, gold, and molybdenum mineralisation consistent with a large porphyry system. These findings build on earlier results and confirm the presence of a complex, multi-phase mineralised environment.

Drillholes IE-003, IE-004, and IE-005 targeted magnetic, chargeability, and geochemical anomalies, intersecting variably mineralised microdiorites, quartz diorites, and hornfels; rock types typical of porphyry deposits. Notably, IE-004 returned 27 metres at 0.18% copper and 0.22 grams per tonne gold from 211 metres, including a higher-grade 4.5-metre interval at 0.52% copper and 0.74 g/t gold. Similarly, IE-005 showed multiple significant intercepts, including 130 metres at 0.14% copper and 0.12 g/t gold from 202 metres.

Geological Insights and System Potential

The alteration patterns observed; from propylitic volcanic wall rocks through phyllic fault-related breccias to potassic quartz vein stockworks; suggest the drilling has sampled the outer to mid-inner shells of the porphyry system rather than its core. The presence of bornite alongside chalcopyrite and potassic biotite points to increasing temperature gradients towards the south-central intrusive axis, controlled by the Chololo fault corridor. This structural control appears to channel mineralising fluids and brecciation, indicating that the mineralised core likely lies deeper and to the south-southeast, beyond current drilling.

At Chancho al Palo, three diamond holes totaling over 2,000 metres also confirmed elevated gold and copper mineralisation, albeit in narrower zones. Highlights include 19 metres at 0.31 g/t gold from 57 metres in CAP-001 and 12 metres at 0.75 g/t gold from 260 metres in CAP-003. These gold zones correspond to structurally controlled late-stage alteration, with ongoing analysis aimed at refining future drill targets.
