Infinity Mining confirms exceptional antimony grades at Walhalla South Extended and advances a groundbreaking extraction partnership at its Cangai Copper Project.

  • High-grade antimony assays up to 51.4% Sb at Walhalla South Extended
  • Discovery linked to a unique circular magnetic anomaly indicating a large intrusive body
  • Binding Memorandum of Cooperation signed with Orivium Global for ‘Super Oxidiser’ technology
  • A$1 million capital raise supports exploration and extraction initiatives
  • Board strengthened with new Non-Executive Director and Chair transition

Exploration Breakthrough at Walhalla South Extended

Infinity Mining Limited has reported a significant milestone in its Eastern Australian exploration campaign with the confirmation of high-grade antimony mineralisation at the Walhalla South Extended project in Victoria. Rock chip assays have revealed antimony concentrations reaching an impressive 51.4%, accompanied by anomalous gold values. This discovery is spatially associated with a distinctive circular magnetic anomaly roughly 1.5 kilometres in diameter, interpreted as a sub-vertical, fractionated intrusive body, a geological feature that has yet to be drill tested.

Follow-up fieldwork has further bolstered confidence in the mineralised system’s continuity, with laminated quartz–stibnite veining exposed at surface. These findings suggest a robust mineralised structure that warrants detailed exploration, including geological mapping, additional geochemical sampling, and potentially higher-resolution geophysical surveys ahead of drilling campaigns planned for 2026.

Innovative Extraction Technology Partnership at Cangai

On the technology front, Infinity Mining has entered a binding Memorandum of Cooperation with Orivium Global Pte Ltd to deploy the patented “Super Oxidiser” extraction technology at the historic Cangai Copper Project in northern New South Wales. This novel approach aims to recover copper, gold, and silver from historical smelter slag and oxide stockpiles, which have traditionally been uneconomic to process.

The Super Oxidiser technology not only promises to unlock value from legacy waste materials but also supports environmental remediation and site rehabilitation efforts. Currently, metallurgical testing of Cangai samples is underway at the University of Sydney, with results expected this quarter to validate the technology’s efficacy and scalability. The project is positioned as Orivium’s Australian “Alpha Project,” potentially paving the way for broader application across Infinity’s portfolio.

Corporate Developments and Capital Raising

Supporting these operational advances, Infinity Mining successfully raised A$1 million through a placement to fund ongoing exploration and extraction technology initiatives. The company’s cash position stood at approximately $723,554 as of December 31, 2025.

Corporate governance has also been strengthened with the appointment of Dr Gongkui (James) Xiao as a Non-Executive Director and the transition of Mr Cameron Petricevic to Chair. These leadership changes align with Infinity’s strategic development objectives as it optimises for growth and operational execution.

Broader Exploration Portfolio and Outlook

Beyond Walhalla South and Cangai, Infinity continues to advance its broader tenement portfolio across New South Wales and Victoria, including the Sir Walter Scott gold prospect and the Tanjil Bren project. While no new field programs were reported from some Western Australian assets this quarter, the company remains focused on prioritising high-potential targets for follow-up in 2026.

With additional assay results pending and government funding decisions on the horizon, Infinity Mining is positioning itself at the intersection of high-grade mineral discovery and innovative extraction technology, potentially reshaping its asset value and market prospects.

Bottom Line?

Infinity Mining’s blend of high-grade discoveries and cutting-edge extraction technology sets the stage for a transformative 2026.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the upcoming metallurgical test results validate the Super Oxidiser technology’s commercial viability?
  • How extensive and economically viable is the antimony mineralisation at Walhalla South Extended beyond surface samples?
  • What impact will potential CRC-P government funding have on accelerating Infinity’s extraction technology rollout?
