Exploration Advances at Pinnacle Well

Legend Mining Limited has released encouraging results from recent exploration activities at its Pinnacle Well Project, located just 25 kilometres north-northeast of Leonora in Western Australia. The focus has been on the Alpha North prospect, where a combination of geophysical surveys and rockchip sampling has revealed promising signs of gold mineralisation.

The company conducted Gradient Array Induced Polarisation (GAIP) and follow-up Pole-Dipole Induced Polarisation (PDIP) surveys over the area, identifying coincident chargeable and resistive anomalies interpreted as sulphide mineralisation at depths ranging from 75 to 200 metres. These features extend over a 700-metre strike length, suggesting a substantial target zone beneath the surface.

Geophysical Insights and 3D Modelling

The geophysical data, interpreted with the assistance of Southern Geoscience Consultants, has highlighted four distinct chargeability highs within the Alpha hornblende granodiorite host rock. Notably, the PDIP survey responses at depth are significantly stronger than the initial GAIP results, indicating potentially richer sulphide concentrations. Legend is now advancing pseudo 3D inversion modelling to better understand these subsurface features and to optimise drillhole placement for upcoming campaigns.

Supporting Geochemical Evidence

Complementing the geophysical work, Legend’s December 2025 rockchip sampling programme collected 56 samples from extensive quartz veining at Alpha North. Combined with historic data, 35 samples returned gold grades exceeding 0.1 grams per tonne, including 10 samples above 1 gram per tonne. Some historic rockchips showed exceptionally high grades, with values up to 91.9 grams per tonne. The presence of associated silver, bismuth, copper, and molybdenum further supports an intrusive-related mineralisation model.

The structural setting appears critical, with multiple vein orientations and regional shearing along the granodiorite-volcanics contact providing fluid pathways conducive to gold deposition. This structural complexity enhances the prospectivity of the area and guides future exploration efforts.

Since acquiring the Pinnacle Well Project in mid-2025, Legend Mining has been methodically building geological and geophysical knowledge to unlock its potential.
