Rumble Resources Limited (ASX – RTR) has delivered a compelling update from its Western Queen Gold Project in Western Australia, revealing that recent diamond drilling has extended high-grade gold mineralisation at the Western Queen South deposit to beyond 500 metres down plunge. The standout intercept, a 12.2-metre section grading 5.13 grams per tonne gold starting at 456 metres depth, includes a particularly rich 2.2-metre interval at 23.7 g/t Au. This significant extension builds on the project's already robust resource base and highlights the potential for further resource growth.

Strong Early Results at Western Queen Central

Meanwhile, drilling at Western Queen Central has also yielded impressive results, with a recent hole returning 6.3 metres at 24.88 g/t Au from 305 metres. This intercept extends the high-grade mineralisation up plunge towards historical underground workings, suggesting continuity of the orebody and reinforcing the prospectivity of the area. Additional drilling is underway to test this continuity further, with assay results pending.

Advancing Towards Resource Upgrade and Mining

The company’s ongoing 20,000-metre diamond drilling program, initiated in October 2025, aims to both grow and upgrade the existing Mineral Resource Estimate, which currently stands at 370,000 ounces of gold at 3.1 g/t. Rumble plans to deliver an updated gold resource estimate in 2026, ahead of the scheduled commencement of mining in the second half of the year. Managing Director Peter Harold expressed confidence in the drilling results, noting they provide strong support for resource growth and underpin the company’s development timeline.

Tungsten Potential Adds Strategic Value

Beyond gold, the Western Queen Project hosts a significant tungsten resource, with a maiden estimate announced in August 2025 of 4.31 million tonnes at 0.31% WO3, equating to 13,200 tonnes of tungsten trioxide. While tungsten assay results from recent drilling are still awaited, ongoing metallurgical testing aims to confirm the potential for concurrent recovery of tungsten alongside gold. This dual-commodity approach could enhance project economics and diversify revenue streams.

Situated approximately 90 kilometres northwest of Mt Magnet, Western Queen benefits from proximity to multiple gold processing plants, facilitating potential toll treatment options. The project’s geological setting within the Yalgoo mineral field and its history of high-grade production underpin its exploration appeal.
