Heritage Survey Clears Path for Next Phase
Auravelle Metals Limited (ASX, AUV) has announced the completion of its second heritage survey at the Crown Gold Project, located southeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Conducted in collaboration with the Kakarra Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, the survey assessed all key areas planned for upcoming exploration, including significant structural zones and sites of historical drilling. This important step ensures that Auravelle can proceed with its planned aircore drilling program with cultural and environmental considerations addressed.
Building on Promising 2025 Aircore Results
The company’s maiden aircore drilling campaign in 2025 revealed gold anomalism extending over at least 2 kilometres in a north-south orientation within the Crown Project. These encouraging results have laid the groundwork for more targeted exploration. Auravelle intends to test historical drill intercepts and key structural targets, some of which are geologically linked to Black Cat Syndicate’s nearby Majestic gold mining centre, a significant +500,000-ounce operation within the Kal East 1.29 million-ounce gold project.
Soil Sampling to Sharpen Exploration Focus
Prior to the next round of aircore drilling, Auravelle plans a focused soil sampling program scheduled for the June quarter. This program will cover areas that have not previously undergone on-ground exploration, aiming to enhance the understanding of the surface geochemical profile. By integrating these new soil data with existing structural models and historical exploration results, Auravelle expects to refine its drill targets, improving the chances of identifying economically viable gold mineralisation.
