Minerals 260 Unveils High-Grade Gold Hits and Launches 30,000m Drill Campaign at Bullabulling
Minerals 260 Limited reports robust drilling results from its 4.5 million ounce Bullabulling Gold Project, highlighting significant high-grade gold intercepts across multiple deposits. A new 30,000 metre drilling program has commenced to underpin an updated Mineral Resource Estimate due mid-2026.
- Strong high-grade gold intercepts at Bacchus, Phoenix, Dicksons, and Kraken deposits
- 30,000m drilling program underway to support mid-2026 resource update
- Current Mineral Resource Estimate stands at 4.5Moz gold across multiple deposits
- Pre-Feasibility Study on track for mid-2026, Definitive Feasibility Study planned for early 2027
- Ongoing exploration targets extensions at depth and along strike, plus infrastructure preparation
Bullabulling Project Delivers Promising Drilling Results
Minerals 260 Limited (ASX, MI6) has released further encouraging assay results from its ongoing drilling campaign at the Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia. The project, which hosts a substantial 4.5 million ounce gold resource, continues to demonstrate thick and high-grade mineralisation across its key deposits, including Bacchus, Phoenix, Dicksons, and Kraken.
Notably, recent drilling at the Bacchus deposit returned standout intercepts such as 7 metres at 12.7 grams per tonne gold, including a remarkable 1 metre at 69 grams per tonne. These results reinforce the continuity and robustness of mineralisation along the footwall shear zone, a critical structural feature controlling gold distribution.
Expanding the Resource Base with a Major Drilling Program
To capitalise on these promising results, Minerals 260 has initiated a 30,000 metre drilling program designed to both infill existing resource areas and test extensions at depth and along strike. This program aims to upgrade a significant portion of the resource from inferred to indicated status, particularly focusing on shallow mineralisation expected to be mined in the early years of production.
The updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), incorporating approximately 60,000 metres of drilling including recent and ongoing campaigns, is scheduled for release mid-2026. This update will feed directly into the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) planned for the same period, with a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) targeted for early 2027.
Strategic Focus on High-Grade Zones and Infrastructure
Drilling efforts continue to prioritise high-grade zones, particularly beneath or along strike from the current resource boundaries at Bacchus and between Bacchus and Kraken. The program also includes sterilisation drilling for planned mining infrastructure and water exploration along the Hannan paleochannel to secure operational water supply.
Managing Director Luke McFadyen emphasised the significance of the drilling results and the company’s growing geological understanding, "The program is designed to increase the resource and upgrade classifications, reflecting our confidence in the project's potential to grow and deliver value for shareholders."
A Project Poised for Development
With a comprehensive tenement package covering 587 square kilometres and granted mining leases, Bullabulling is well positioned within the prolific Eastern Goldfields region. The project’s mineralisation is hosted within a structurally complex amphibolite sequence, with multiple deformation events creating favourable conditions for gold deposition.
As Minerals 260 advances its drilling and study programs, the market will be watching closely for the mid-2026 resource update and subsequent feasibility studies, which will be pivotal in defining the project’s path towards production.
Bottom Line?
Bullabulling’s latest drilling success and aggressive resource expansion program set the stage for a critical resource update and feasibility milestones in 2026.
Questions in the middle?
- How much can the Mineral Resource Estimate grow with the current drilling campaign?
- What impact will the upgraded resource classification have on project financing and development timelines?
- Are there additional high-grade zones yet to be discovered along parallel structures near Bullabulling?
