Rincon’s Telfer South Prospect Now Extends Over 1,000m with Gold Up to 37g/t

Historic Data Sheds New Light on Telfer South

Rincon Resources Limited has made a compelling case for the expansion of its Telfer South gold-copper project in Western Australia's Eastern Pilbara region. By revisiting and validating rock-chip samples collected by Newcrest Mining Limited in 1991, Rincon has identified a mineralised corridor stretching over 1,000 metres in strike length, significantly larger than previously recognised.

The historic samples, which have been cross-checked against certified laboratory data, reveal remarkable grades with gold concentrations reaching as high as 37 grams per tonne and copper values up to 21%. These findings highlight the potential for a substantial high-grade zone, particularly in the newly defined Hasties Central area, which lies between the Hasties Main and Hasties Southeast deposits.

Expanding the Mineralisation Footprint

Prior to this review, the known mineralisation was largely confined to Hasties Main and Hasties SE deposits. The discovery of mineral continuity between these two zones effectively expands the Hasties trend to over one kilometre and leaves it open for further extension along strike. The mineralised zone also exhibits impressive widths of up to 100 metres, suggesting a robust target for upcoming exploration.

Rincon’s Technical Director, Michael Griffiths, emphasised the significance of this discovery, noting that the integration of this high-quality historic data will greatly enhance the company’s geological understanding and exploration strategy. The company is now preparing to mobilise a drill rig later this quarter to test and expand the mineralisation, with a view to updating the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) that currently stands at approximately 870,000 tonnes grading 0.96 g/t gold and 0.26% copper.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Plans

This advancement at Hasties forms a critical part of Rincon’s broader Telfer South project, which benefits from a farm-in and joint venture agreement with Greatland Resources. Covering over 200 square kilometres of exploration tenements, this partnership aims to leverage combined expertise and resources to unlock the full potential of the region’s gold and copper systems.

Rincon is also in the process of digitising and verifying additional historic data, including soil samples and petrological studies, to build a comprehensive geological database. This methodical approach underpins their 2026 exploration program, which is designed to systematically test extensions of mineralisation both laterally and at depth.

While the historic data provides a strong foundation, Rincon acknowledges that further drilling and analysis are essential to confirm the extent and economic viability of the mineralisation. The company’s commitment to a phased resource upgrade throughout the year signals confidence in the project’s upside potential.
