Infini Resources Ltd (ASX:I88) is gearing up for a pivotal moment in its uranium exploration journey with the appointment of two highly experienced Canadian contractors, Rodren Drilling Ltd and Archer Cathro & Associates Ltd. These appointments mark the company’s transition from surface exploration to its maiden diamond drilling campaign at the Reynolds and Reitenbach Lake projects, situated on the eastern margin of the globally significant Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan.

The Athabasca Basin is renowned for hosting some of the world’s highest-grade uranium deposits, and Infini’s projects benefit from a geologically prospective setting characterised by graphitic conductive horizons, structural complexity, and uranium geochemical anomalies. The company’s recent geophysical and field programs in 2025 have delineated compelling drill targets, including the standout Titus Showing where a uraninite sample returned an impressive 1.90% U3O8.

Experienced Partners for a Complex Terrain

Rodren Drilling brings over 47 years of expertise in diamond drilling across challenging Canadian terrains, including the Athabasca Basin, ensuring operational efficiency and environmental stewardship. Meanwhile, Archer Cathro, with more than six decades of exploration experience in northern Canada, will provide critical geological services such as drill supervision, logging, and real-time interpretation to optimise the drilling campaign’s effectiveness.

Infini’s leadership emphasises the strategic importance of these partnerships. CEO Rohan Bone highlighted the contractors’ deep roots in uranium exploration, which align with the company’s focus on disciplined capital deployment and scientific rigour. Drilling Program and Geological Context

The initial drilling campaign is planned to cover a minimum of 2,500 metres, targeting priority zones where approximately 80 kilometres of electromagnetic conductors intersect with structural corridors and uranium geochemical anomalies. These targets are interpreted to represent favourable settings for basement-hosted uranium mineralisation, analogous to deposits at Eagle Point and Rabbit Lake.

Mobilisation of contractors is scheduled for mid-April 2026, with drilling to commence shortly thereafter. The program’s design allows for rapid scaling based on early results, reflecting a dynamic approach to exploration that balances risk with opportunity. Concurrently, an airborne geophysics survey at the nearby Portland Creek project is set to resume, supporting ongoing target refinement for an expanded exploration push later in the year.
