Drilling Commences at Beachcomber
BPM Minerals Ltd (ASX:BPM) has mobilised its reverse circulation (RC) drill rig to the Beachcomber Prospect within the Forelands Gold Project in Western Australia, initiating a 7,500-metre drilling campaign. This program aims to test the down-dip and down-plunge extensions of previously identified high-grade gold mineralisation, including impressive intercepts such as 3 metres at 65.8 grams per tonne gold and 9 metres at 7.77 grams per tonne gold.
The Beachcomber main lode is characterised by stacked quartz veins with coarse visible gold, extending over 180 metres strike and 200 metres down dip. The current drilling will also explore several nearby soil anomalies, including a 700-metre-long northwest target that remains untested, potentially expanding the known mineralised footprint.
Bonnie & Clyde Heritage Survey and Exploration Progress
Parallel to drilling at Beachcomber, BPM has scheduled a heritage survey at the Bonnie & Clyde Prospect for late March 2026, working with the Upurli Nguratja Aboriginal Corporation. This survey is a critical step toward securing approvals for maiden drilling, targeted for the third quarter of 2026.
Bonnie & Clyde hosts a compelling 6-kilometre-long gold-in-soil anomaly with multiple zones exceeding 100 parts per billion gold, and peak values above 1 gram per tonne. A 2,000-sample soil survey is underway to refine drill targets, with assay results expected in May.
Supporting Surveys and Strategic Positioning
To complement these efforts, BPM plans to commence an airborne magnetic survey in early April. This survey will cover key prospects including Beachcomber, Bonnie & Clyde, Sidecar, Ambrosia, and Brass Monkey, providing detailed structural data to guide future exploration and drilling.
The Forelands Gold Project covers approximately 630 square kilometres along a major structural corridor known for hosting significant gold deposits, such as the Tropicana mine. BPM’s strategic location near existing and proposed processing facilities enhances the commercial potential of any future discoveries.
