Can Dart Mining Unlock Triumph’s Hidden Gold Riches with Upcoming Drilling?

Expanding the Triumph Gold Project

Dart Mining NL has announced a significant expansion of high-grade gold targets at its flagship Triumph Gold Project in Central Queensland. Recent rock chip sampling completed in December 2025 has delivered standout assays, including 109 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 105 g/t silver at the Chandlers lode, and 73 g/t gold with 45 g/t silver at the Spotted Gum prospect. These results broaden the scope for resource growth in the Northern Corridor, particularly around the historically underexplored Norton Mine area.

The Triumph project already hosts an inferred mineral resource of 2.16 million tonnes at 2.17 g/t gold, equating to approximately 150,000 ounces. Dart Mining has also defined an exploration target ranging between 5.1 and 7.6 million tonnes at 1.72 to 2.52 g/t gold, potentially adding up to 613,200 ounces. This target sits alongside the existing resource, highlighting the project's considerable upside potential.

Geological Insights and Target Areas

The rock chip sampling focused on several key prospects: Chandlers, Sailor Boy, Spotted Gum, and the Advance area. The Chandlers and Sailor Boy lodes, extending east of the Norton Mine, returned some of the highest grades, with Chandlers yielding a remarkable 109 g/t gold. Meanwhile, Spotted Gum, part of the Advance prospect, showed strong surface mineralisation consistent with previous drilling intercepts, including historic drill results of up to 69.8 g/t gold over one metre.

The Advance prospect, located just 200 metres from Spotted Gum, is particularly intriguing. Historical mining and geological assessments suggest structurally controlled gold mineralisation that has yet to be fully understood. Dart Mining plans to return with diamond drilling to unravel the complex geology and better define the mineralisation controls, aiming to convert these promising targets into a formal resource.

Strategic Outlook and Next Steps

While Dart Mining continues to advance its earn-in and joint venture at the Coonambula gold-antimony project, the company is clearly positioning Triumph as a long-term growth asset. Chairman James Chirnside likened the project to an onion, with each layer peeled back revealing new opportunities. The company’s geology team is optimistic that further drilling will unlock additional high-grade zones, especially in areas around the Norton Mine that have seen limited historical drilling.

In the coming months, Dart Mining intends to report assay results from ongoing diamond drilling at Coonambula, develop a 3D geological model, and ultimately declare a JORC resource there. Subsequently, the focus will return to Triumph to enhance the existing Mineral Resource Estimate and prioritise targets identified through recent exploration efforts.

This multi-pronged approach reflects Dart Mining’s commitment to building a robust portfolio of gold assets in Queensland, leveraging both advanced-stage projects like Triumph and emerging opportunities such as Coonambula.
