Enlitic Validates Intelerad Integration with New Zealand Radiology Launch

Healthcare By Ada Torres 3 min read

Enlitic’s Ensight platform goes live at New Zealand’s largest private radiology provider, marking a milestone in its Intelerad partnership and expanding its global footprint after record contract wins.

  • Ensight deployed at RHCNZ’s 65 clinics
  • First production use of Intelerad IntelePACS integration
  • Focus on hanging protocols to standardise imaging display
  • RHCNZ plans broader Ensight rollout
  • Follows A$5.1m record Q1 FY26 contract wins

Major Deployment at New Zealand’s Largest Private Radiology Provider

Enlitic (ASX:ENL) has taken a significant step in its international expansion by launching its Ensight platform at RHCNZ Medical Imaging Group, New Zealand’s largest private radiology network. Operating over 65 clinics and employing more than 170 specialist radiologists, RHCNZ covers more than 35% of the country’s private radiology market, making this deployment a substantial validation of Enlitic’s technology in a sizeable healthcare environment.

The initial rollout focuses on implementing hanging protocols; standardised rules for how imaging studies are displayed to radiologists. This move aims to boost diagnostic consistency and reading efficiency across RHCNZ’s nationwide clinics, setting the foundation for further integration of Enlitic’s platform into clinical workflows.

First Live Use of Intelerad IntelePACS Integration

Crucially, this deployment marks the first production use of Enlitic’s integration with Intelerad’s IntelePACS, a leading picture archiving and communication system widely used in medical imaging. Developed over the past year, this integration allows Ensight to be embedded directly into Intelerad-hosted environments, streamlining installation and use for healthcare providers.

Intelerad is among eight global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) collaborating with Enlitic’s Migrations and Data Management offering, underscoring the company’s strategy to grow through both direct and channel partnerships. The RHCNZ go-live provides a strong reference point for Enlitic within the Intelerad ecosystem, potentially opening doors to further enterprise deployments.

Building on Record Contract Momentum

This milestone follows Enlitic’s record-breaking first quarter of FY26, where it secured A$5.1 million in total contract value across 17 agreements, including major deals with US institutions such as Penn Medicine, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Parkland Health. The New Zealand deployment fits neatly into Enlitic’s broader strategy of expanding Ensight’s installed base and transitioning towards recurring SaaS revenue streams.

CEO Michael Sistenich highlighted the importance of the RHCNZ partnership, noting that while hanging protocols are just the starting point, the network has identified multiple additional use cases for Ensight. This signals a potential long-term relationship with opportunities to deepen integration and revenue growth.

RHCNZ’s Commitment to Workflow Efficiency

RHCNZ’s Chief Digital Officer Shayne Hunter described the Ensight deployment as a "significant step forward" in delivering smarter and more efficient radiology workflows. The platform’s ability to standardise study presentation is expected to enhance consistency across its extensive network, with plans already underway to explore further applications beyond hanging protocols.

Given RHCNZ’s scale and influence in New Zealand’s private radiology sector, this deployment could serve as a blueprint for similar networks in Australasia, where AI-driven solutions are gaining traction.

Enlitic’s recent contract wins and this key deployment highlight the company’s momentum in embedding its AI-powered platform into major healthcare systems. The validation of its Intelerad integration in a live enterprise setting adds a new dimension to its growth story, complementing its US expansion efforts documented in its recent record A$5.1m contracts and Parkland Health migration deal.

Bottom Line?

Enlitic’s Ensight platform has cleared a critical operational hurdle with its Intelerad integration now proven in a major live environment, setting the stage for deeper adoption and recurring revenue opportunities.

Questions in the middle?

  • How quickly will RHCNZ expand Ensight use beyond hanging protocols?
  • Can Enlitic replicate this OEM integration success in other international markets?
  • What impact will this deployment have on Enlitic’s SaaS revenue trajectory?
