Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) has unveiled a landmark assay result from diamond drill hole DD008D at its flagship Kameelburg Rare Earth Elements (REE), Strontium, Niobium, and Molybdenum project in Namibia. The hole returned a continuous mineralised intercept spanning nearly 504 metres from surface, boasting an average grade of 1.30% total rare earth oxides (TREO), 4.01% strontium carbonate (SrCO₃), 0.17% niobium pentoxide (Nb₂O₅), and 190ppm molybdenum (Mo). This intercept not only surpasses previous thickness records at Kameelburg but also confirms the eastern flank of the carbonatite intrusion as richly mineralised to the full depth drilled.

Three Distinct High-Grade Zones Within Thick Mineralised Envelope

Within the extensive mineralised envelope, Aldoro delineated three high-tenor internal layers that will underpin the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The upper layer extends 129 metres averaging 1.67% TREO and 4.9% SrCO₃, the middle layer spans 177 metres at 1.33% TREO and 4.3% SrCO₃, and the lower layer, located at the bottom of the hole, delivers a standout 27 metres at 2.39% TREO and 6.3% SrCO₃. Notably, this lower zone exhibits the highest combined rare earth and strontium grades in DD008D and remains open at depth, suggesting further upside potential. The robust grade-with-depth trend aligns with observations from previous drill pads, reinforcing the geological model of a vertically zoned carbonatite system.

Expanding the Multi-Commodity Footprint on Eastern Flank

DD008D was drilled east-northeast from the DD008 pad, targeting the eastern projection of the layered sovite-beforsite mineralised package. The results confirm that the multi-commodity REE-Sr-Nb-Mo system extends strongly onto the eastern flank, complementing earlier drilling from the northern and southern sectors. This continuity across the central magnetic anomaly is crucial for refining the resource model and provides key geological boundary controls for the MRE update. The consistent presence of strontium carbonate above 4% throughout the hole, and exceeding 6% in the lower layer, underscores strontium's role as a significant secondary commodity at Kameelburg.

The mineralisation style, interpreted as carbonate-hosted REE and niobium associated with magnetite, mirrors deposits like Niobec Sant Honore in Canada, situating Kameelburg as a promising multi-commodity asset. The drilling approach, involving industry-standard triple tube diamond drilling and rigorous sampling protocols, supports confidence in the assay results and geological interpretation.

Phase II Drilling Completes with Assays Flowing In

The Phase II diamond drilling program at Kameelburg is now complete, comprising 15 holes totaling 7,190 metres. Assays have been received for nine holes, including DD008D, with results pending for six more. The steady flow of assay data is expected to continue over the coming weeks, maintaining market engagement. DD008D, along with its companion hole DD008G from the same pad, is anticipated to materially contribute to the June MRE update, which will incorporate all Phase II drilling data once classified by the Competent Person.

These results build on Aldoro's recent progress, including the confirmation of niobium continuity at the project's northeastern boundary, which helped refine the mineralised core's limits ahead of the resource update. Next Steps: Bulk Sampling, Metallurgical Testing, and Deeper Drilling

Aldoro is mobilising its Smart 8 drilling rig to commence bulk sampling across the Kameelburg carbonatite, accelerating progress toward metallurgical test work and subsequent definition studies. The company has prioritised a follow-up deeper diamond hole from the DD008 pad to test the high-grade trend at depth indicated by the lower layer in DD008D, alongside a previously flagged deeper hole from the DD003 pad. These deeper holes aim to delineate the resource's vertical extent and grade continuity further.
