Belararox Extends High-Grade Polymetallic Zones at Toro Central Ahead of 2026 Drilling
Belararox Limited has confirmed additional high-grade silver, copper, and zinc mineralisation at its Toro Central prospect in Argentina, with narrow but rich intercepts from recent diamond drilling. The company is refining its structural understanding to guide an expanded 2026/2027 exploration campaign.
- High-grade intercepts include 1.75m at 312g/t Ag, 25.4% Zn, 2.24% Cu
- Mineralisation strongly linked to complex fault structures
- Further drilling planned at Toro Central, Toro South, and Tambo South
- Ongoing geological re-logging and geophysical reinterpretation underway
- Assays pending from additional drill holes
Narrow but Intense Mineralisation Confirmed at Toro Central
Belararox Limited (ASX:BRX) has delivered another round of promising assay results from its Toro Central prospect within the TMT Project in Argentina’s San Juan Province. The standout intercept from hole TMT-TC-DDH-004 returned a narrow but spectacular 1.75 metres grading 312 grams per tonne silver, 25.4% zinc, 2.24% copper, and 0.17 grams per tonne gold starting at 216.25 metres. A second copper-rich interval of 7 metres at 0.63% copper and 11.27 g/t silver was also intersected deeper in the same hole from 364 metres. While these widths are modest compared to the exceptional 47-metre high-grade zone reported earlier in hole TMT-TC-DDH-002, the metal content remains significant and validates the prospect’s potential.
These latest results reinforce the interpretation that mineralisation at Toro Central is strongly structurally controlled, linked to a complex fault architecture that is influencing the distribution of high-grade silver, copper, and zinc zones. The company is leveraging this insight with detailed off-season geological re-logging and geophysical reinterpretation to better understand the three-dimensional architecture and refine drill targeting ahead of the 2026/2027 field season.
Strategic Expansion of Drilling Focus Across TMT Project
Belararox plans to intensify its exploration efforts later this year, with drilling campaigns targeting both the Toro Central and Toro South areas, as well as the Tambo South prospect. The inclusion of the recently acquired El Faro prospect adds another dimension to the regional exploration strategy. The company’s General Manager Exploration, Chris Blaser, highlighted that the structural insights gained from the TMT-TC-DDH-004 intersections will be critical in refining drill targets and maximising discovery potential.
This approach builds on the company’s broader work to unlock copper porphyry potential within the TMT Project, with geophysical surveys and surface sampling continuing to provide vectoring tools. The upcoming drilling program will be informed by a comprehensive reinterpretation of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data, aiming to delineate extensions of the high-grade mineralisation and test new targets along strike and at depth.
Pending Assays and Ongoing Exploration Activities
Assays from other recently completed drill holes at Toro Central and Toro South are expected over the next two to three weeks, with the company committed to timely market updates as results become available. Notably, drilling at Toro South has so far returned no significant mineralisation, but further results are awaited, including from hole TMT-TS-DDH-003, which targets a regional structure.
Belararox’s CEO, Will Dix, emphasised the importance of the current off-season window to consolidate geological data and plan an aggressive exploration program. The company’s recent capital raise of A$4 million from strategic investors has bolstered its financial position to support these initiatives, underpinning the upcoming drilling campaigns and ongoing technical work at the TMT Project A$4 million raised from investors.
These developments follow a series of exploration milestones, including the initial high-grade silver discovery announced in March 2026 and the expansion of the landholding with the El Faro acquisition in April 2026, positioning Belararox to leverage structural and geochemical insights for targeted resource growth High-grade silver discovery March El Faro acquisition April.
Bottom Line?
Belararox’s refined structural understanding at Toro Central sets the stage for a focused 2026 drilling campaign, but pending assays and the variable nature of mineralisation warrant cautious optimism.
Questions in the middle?
- Will upcoming assays confirm continuity of high-grade zones at Toro Central?
- How will structural complexity influence the scalability of the mineralisation?
- Can exploration at Tambo South and El Faro deliver a complementary copper porphyry discovery?
