Notably, the high-grade gold is not accompanied by significant sulphides but is associated with intense hydrothermal alteration, including quartz veining and brecciation, reinforcing the importance of structural and alteration controls in localising gold mineralisation.

Beyond the headline intercepts, Lac Gold’s drilling continues to reveal broad mineralised halos with grades typically between 1 and 3.5 g/t Au over tens of metres.
